The Resilience Toolkit was developed last year through a collaborative co-creation process to help civil society organizations strengthen their resilience in a structured and sustainable way. This review workshop revisits the toolkit, provides deeper insights into its practical application, and offers space for reflection, clarification, and exchange of experiences.

The session is designed both for organizations that are newly engaging with the toolkit and for those who would like to refresh and deepen their understanding.

About the Resilience Toolkit

The Resilience Toolkit offers practical tools and approaches to strengthen personal, communicative an collective resilience. It supports individuals and organizations not only in understanding resilience strategies but also in implementing them effectively and embedding them sustainably within their structures and daily practices.

Background of the Event

Over the past months, practical tools and approaches to strengthen the resilience of civil society organizations (CSOs) were developed in a series of co-creation workshops. The goal was to move beyond theoretical discussions and create concrete, applicable instruments that organizations can use in their everyday work.

This review workshop builds on that process. It provides a comprehensive overview of the toolkit, revisits its key components, and reflects on practical experiences with its implementation. Participants will have the opportunity to clarify open questions and further explore how the toolkit can best support their personal and organizational development.

Objective of the Workshop

The workshop aims to equip participants with the knowledge and confidence to apply the Resilience Toolkit effectively within their organizations. The focus is on practical application, sustainable integration, and long-term impact.

Participants will explore how to incorporate the toolkit’s tools and methods into their daily work in order to strengthen crisis preparedness, strategic adaptability, and long-term stability.

After the Workshop

By the end of the workshop, participants will have a solid understanding of the Resilience Toolkitand its practical use. They will be able to apply its tools in a targeted way and further embed resilience strategies within their organizations.

The toolkit’s hands-on approaches contribute not only to strengthening individual organizations but also to enhancing the resilience of the broader civil society network in the face of future challenges.
